Defending Innocence is a dedicated, survivor-founded nonprofit organization with a mission to spread awareness, educate, and prevent child sexual abuse.

After meeting in a group therapy session for sexual assault victims, we decided that there should be something out there for survivors that made the entire ordeal a little more manageable, something that we could have used. We founded this organization on the belief that every child deserves a safe and nurturing environment, we are committed to making a tangible difference in the lives of children and their families. 

Although our primary focus is on preventing child sexual abuse, we recognize that this issue affects people of all ages and genders. As such, we are committed to providing valuable information and resources regarding sexual abuse and sexual violence for women, children, and men. We believe that by addressing the issue holistically, we can make a greater impact on the lives of those affected by this issue.  

At Defending Innocence, we believe that every person deserves to live a life free from the fear and trauma of sexual abuse. By working together, we can build a world where innocence is protected, and the lives of those affected by abuse are transformed for the better.
